Baldwin Production Services wins 2025 COLA Award
/Jimmy Baldwin and Baldwin Production Services were honored on Dec. 7th at the 30th Annual California On Location Awards during a sold-out ceremony held at the 2000-seat Orpheum theater in Los Angeles. Jimmy was named Location Manager of the Year (Stills) for his work with Shake Productions on the Banana Republic Holiday Campaign, shot in San Francisco. This is Jimmy’s fourth COLA Award in his career in location services.
Jimmy was nominated by the San Francisco Mayor’s Office, and statewide finalists were selected by the 57 Film Liaisons in California (FLICS). Industry leaders, including representatives from major studios, unions, and state government, presented the awards in a gala red-carpet event hosted by industry sponsors including The Disney Golden Oak Ranch, Variety Magazine, The Hollywood Reporter, Netflix, and Hollywood Teamsters Local 399, among other esteemed supporters.
The California On Location Awards (COLAs) honor the best Location Professionals in entertainment, saluting production companies and location professionals who have demonstrated exceptional professionalism and stewardship while filming in communities throughout California. The awards, established in 1995 by the California Film Commission, a division of the California Trade and Commerce Agency, also honor California public employees for their diligent work in assisting productions.
Jimmy received the Location Professional of the Year Award in Still Photography both in 1996 and in 1999 for his work as a Location Scout and Manager, and was honored with the 2001 Robin Eickman Memorial Award for consistently assisting Film Commissioners in their efforts to attract entertainment dollars to their communities.
